Facts about iPhone 3G launch in India:
Will be launched this year
Will be launched both by Airtel & Vodafone
No support for Indian languages and scripts.
Although the phone supports 3G, neither Airtel nor Vodafone has the 3G spectrum and the government still has to auction these off. Very unlikely that we will get 3G speeds this year.
