My HP PhotoSmart 4500 driver on snow leopard dosn't list any option.

That's because this printer doesn't support Duplex printing. Please see:
http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF06a/1... (look under Paper Handling)

"Duplex printing (printing on both sides of paper)
None (not supported)"
